ABOUT THIS WORK

  • CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Craniosacral therapy is primarily used to relieve pain and dysfunction, with the strongest scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness for migraines and headaches, neck pain, and back pain.

It is also commonly applied to address a wide range of other physical and psychological conditions, including:

    • Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome

    • Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and jaw pain

    • Stress, anxiety, and depression

    • Concussions and traumatic brain injuries

    • Infant and childhood disorders, such as colic, feeding difficulties, and autism spectrum disorders

    • Post-surgical recovery and trauma recovery

  • MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial release (MFR) is primarily used to treat myofascial pain syndrome and various musculoskeletal pain conditions by applying gentle, sustained pressure to release tension in the fascia. It is commonly indicated for chronic lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, and shoulder pain.

The therapy is also utilized for:

    • Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis pain relief.

    • Post-surgical recovery to address upper extremity pain and mobility issues.

    • Neurological disorders to alleviate muscle spasms and joint dysfunction.

    • Improving flexibility, range of motion, and posture by correcting fascial restrictions caused by poor posture or trauma.

  • TRAUMA THERAPY

Trauma Release is primarily used to discharge any force held in the tissues that can show as PTSD and chronic pain, both physically and emotionally. This therapy helps release deep muscular tension, reduce stress and anxiety, and regulate the nervous system. It is used in individuals suffering from PTSD, chronic pain, and trauma-related conditions. It locates and discharges stored force of impact in the tissues that resulted from any impact that the body was not able to resolve at the time of occurance. It does not require verbal processing of traumatic events.

  • VISCERAL MANIPULATION

Visceral Manipulation treats digestive disorders, chronic pain, and post-surgical adhesions. By targeting restrictions in the connective tissue (fascia) surrounding the organs and the organs motility (movement) it improves overall body mechanics and health.

    Key conditions treated include:

    • Digestive Issues: Constipation, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), GERD, nausea, acid reflux, and swallowing dysfunctions.

    • Chronic Pain: Joint and muscle pain as well as headaches and migraines.

    • Post-Surgical Recovery: Breaking down adhesions and scar tissue from abdominal surgeries, c-sections.

    • Pelvic and Reproductive Health: Endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, bladder incontinence, menstrual pain.

    • Acute Injuries

We listen. The body fixes itself. Big Impact.

In each appointment we will discuss your main concern for coming in. While you are on the table, I will assess how your body moves from within, it's patterns and where it moves freely and where it doesn't. From here we move into a gentle hands-on treatment that may include any combination of the following: craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, visceral manipulation and tissue massage.

Combining these with soul-based inquiry and deep listening, every session meets you exactly where you are.

  • Did you know left temple headaches and irregular heart rhythm can be caused by a 'tight' stomach ..... and it can be released.

    Visceral manipulation

  • Concussion is treatable with craniosacral.

  • Trauma is defined as impact that has never left the tissues. AND ITS FINDABLE!!!

  • When the impact of trauma is released, it often brings with it a teaching, an understanding. And tears.

    Trauma Release

  • Holistic healing and somatic release awakens you to a new way of seeing your body and your life

  • Trauma can be found in the body and it always leads to deep healing

  • Feel more connected and calm through craniosacral therapy.

    Craniosacral soothes the nerves

  • There are many trauma recovery stories. The path may be a winding one, but it always leads to wholeness

  • Myofascial Release is done at both surface and deep tissue and both are equally effective.

  • Fascial adhesions often restrict and pull the body out of alignment. And when it releases, it stays released. It doesnt spring back like muscle can yay! :)

    Myofascial Release (MFR)

  • Craniosacral therapy is often misunderstood. When we hold the head, we are actually working to stretch and release the tendons that hold the bone in place. and it is crazy effective.

    CranioSacral Therapy

  • Low back pain can often be due to tight hip flexors, or even digestive issues. And sometimes, its just the back that needs a massage.

Knowing how to listen to what the body needs.

  • Each cell was created with an innate ability to search for healing.

  • When unresolved emotions show up in the tissues, we address it with the presence of deep listening, honour and genuine care.

    Trauma release

  • Tissues contain wisdom and know how to find resolution when given opportunity.

Presence of wisdom within the body.

  • Did you know right shoulder pain can be related to the liver, or even the diaphragm that isnt moving freely. And with visceral manipulation, we address that.
